The Time-Traveling Parrot and the Golden Spoon

Deep in the heart of Delray Beach, an eccentric old sailor named Captain Louie owned a peculiar pet—a parrot named Sir Squawksalot. Unlike other parrots, Sir Squawksalot didn’t just repeat words. He told stories—stories so detailed and bizarre that locals whispered he might be... a time traveler.

One day, while sipping his morning coconut-rum espresso, Louie noticed something unusual. Sir Squawksalot was squawking about a golden spoon buried under the boardwalk.

"Aye, ye be lying again, bird!" Louie grumbled.

But the parrot wouldn’t stop. “Golden spoon! 1715! Spanish shipwreck! Buried treasure! Premier Estate Buyer Delray Beach!”

That last part caught Louie’s attention. Why would his parrot mention Delray Beach Gold Buyer? Curious (and slightly drunk), Louie grabbed a rusty metal detector and stumbled toward the boardwalk.

To his utter shock, the bird was right.
